Let it Snow
Hi friends and welcome - I know it's still hot everywhere but in most places that will soon change. Today I want to bring you thoughts of cooler, even cold, weather with a few more dies from the new release at Elizabeth Craft Designs - featuring Joset Designs. These fabulous dies are just too cute! I love all of them but have chosen just three to share with you this time around.
This hinged project brings thoughts of winter fun in the snow, so "Let it Snow".

I also used the Through the Lens paper and Hinges from Els van de Burgt Studio.
The cute little snowflakes are from the new release by Karen Burniston, Holiday Charms.
Here are some close ups of the panels so you can see all the details - and there are so many included in these great sets.
I added some twine through the holes provided in the die but it does come with a cute bow if you would rater do that.

Trick or Treat
Hi friends,
I had a little play time this morning so made a fun tag that I want to share with you. I'm using dies from the new release from Karen Burniston's Pop it Ups for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
This new collection of Halloween dies is lots of fun - you can let your mind wander to the dark & scary or to the fun & whimsical side. You get to decide.

Batty for you!
Hi everyone and welcome back for another look at the new release from Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Today I'm sharing a Halloween Card that I created using some of Karen's new stamps and dies. They coordinate so well together and are so versatile that you can mix and match all the sets. You can see the entire release by clicking here.
For the front of this card I used Halloween Clear Stamps to stamp my greeting. I cut out the greeting using the Labels and Circles and then added a bat from the Halloween Scene set.
On the inside of this card, the moon and bat spin up from the center, I used the Twist Circle Pop Up for that. I added a couple more bats from the Halloween Scene to accompany Midnight the Bat. I altered the fence from the Iron Fence Pop Up and added some stars from the Happy Birthday Pop Up.
I printed my greeting "I'm batty for you!" and cut it out using the Labels and Circles. I edged the black panel on this card with the Agatha Edges set, all from Karen Burniston

New Release and a giveaway!!
Hi Everyone,
I'm back from my big European Adventure and ready to get back in the crafting groove. What better way to start than to share a new release from Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. Today I'm sharing the new Flower Pot Pop Stand die set which I have used for a Steampunk Birthday card. The set comes with flowers and a cute butterfly to fill the flower pot but I have used some gears and a clock all designed by Karen as well. The flower pot is easy to assemble and it is a Pop Stand die so the pot stands up in the center of the card - yet folds flat for mailing. To see a "how to" video from Karen just click here.

I have used some of the new collection on the front of the card as well. The Labels and Circles die comes in handy for adding a greeting to any card. I have been wanting a crown to use on my steampunk cards and now I'm happy to say that Karen has added just what I wanted in the Anita Frames Pop Up.

Designer Challenge - Stretch it Out
Well here we are on the 4th Monday and time for another challenge. This time the challenge was determined by one of the design team members. Our lovely, Kelly Booth, has challenged us with
Stretch it out!" - use any of the Accordion dies for a project of any theme.
I went with "Celebrate Life". I used the Gift Card Accordion for my base and added some fun embellishments.
One of the fun features of an Accordion card is that it folds up flat for mailing but when it is "Stretched Out", it is truly an unexpected surprise.
I love mixing things up - using lots of pieces from different die sets and cards. I have done just that with this card and have linked all the products I used below. If you haven't made an accordion card yet, wait no longer. It's time to "Stretch it Out".

(just sayin) Hello
Hi my friends, thanks for joining me today. I like having cards around that I can just write a short note on and send off to a friend. I'm sharing one of those today. Hope you enjoy.
I've used lots of fun textures here and many layers. I've been playing with rust paint and fun foam, that's how I made the rusty gears. It's easy to get lots of movement using these fun bead strings. I've linked all products below so you can shop away to your hearts content.

Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge Week(s) #1 - UP
Hi my friends and welcome. I hope the title of this post hasn't confused you, it's just my way of drawing your attention to the fact that we are starting something new for the Karen Burniston Designer Challenges. Beginning today we will be popping in twice a month instead of once. You can see all the great designs from the design team each 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and a new video from Karen on the following Tuesdays. Karen always has a great new technique to share and we are all looking forward them - so let's get started.
This time around we have been challenged by Karen with the theme
"Up!" - Let's get things airborne with high-flying cards featuring the sky.
I thought Jinks would have fun doing a little sky diving so here he is with his colorful
parachute and cheeky smile.
I used the Oval Pull Card this time. When opened - Jinks slides on over to reveal the message inside. He is flying with a few of his bird friends from the Partly Cloudy - Stage it Stencil.
I had a little giggle while making this card because I think Jinks is just so darn cute. I tied some bakers twine around his waist and then attached it to the parachute which is an umbrella.
Jinks and the parachute are attached to a piece of acetate and then put on the slider of the Oval Pull Card.
I used clouds from the All Seasons Tree set and from the Hot Air Balloon Pop Up.
My lovely team mate, Kelly Booth, has issued the challenge of "Stretch it Out" for July 25th. I can't wait to see what the team does with this one. There will be all kinds of wonderful accordion cards I'm sure.

Summer Lovin
It's day two of Designers Challenge week with Karen Burniston. Her challenge to the team is Summer Lovin. When I think summer - I think, swimming, picnics and the 4th of July. I made a patriotic card this time combining 2 of Karen's Accordion Cards, the Star Accordion and the Fancy Label Accordion.
