Cupcake? Yes Please!

Hello everyone,

Today is the Paper Pros challenge and the theme is Kids or Back to School.  I'm on the road on a month long trip at the moment but thought, although it could be a stretch, that kids love cupcakes and birthdays so here we go.  Cupcake? Yes please!!

This card uses the Triple Flip minus two for a single flip that has a punch.

I made the triple flip the same as always but on a much taller base with the pull tab in the center.

I decorated the front with the Crosshatch Rectangle and another one on the inside and then stamped my greeting.  The cupcakes and flourish on the inside are from Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop Up.

Happy Birthday MOM

Hi Friends

Today is the Paper Pros Challenge and the theme this time is Spring Fever.  I was totally inspired by a basket that I saw on Karen Burniston's Pop Up Peeps.  It was made and shown by Jessie Adams.  She made this wonderful basket so I just had to make one for my MOM's birthday which was Sunday. I filled mine with spring goodies. 

She was 92.  She loved it.

After cutting the Woven Basket Die panels 4 times, I wove them and put them together, holding them in place with a solid bottom that I cut using my electronic die cutter. I used strips of paper for the inside that were made to fit the basket and then added the grass pieces to them.  I made a handle for the basket by adding a border from the new Border Blends. 

When my basket was all assembled, I added lots of flowers, cupcakes and ice  cream cones.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this creation and try to think outside the box when using your dies.

Paper Pros - In A Name

Hi Friends,

It's time once again for the monthly challenge for the Paper Pros.  We are an informal group of  crafters that like to make cards with no pressure or theme.  This month the challenge is "In A Name" which means that we take the first letter of our first and last names and make a card with that theme.

Although I think it is a stretch, I went with Summer Day.  Hope you enjoy my summer card.

I saw a fun forecast so thought I would use it for today:

Unproductive with a chance of a nap.

No Shirt, NO SHOES, No Problem

Hi Friends,

It's time once again for the Paper Pros Challenge and this month I am a little early but just couldn't wait to share this fun card with you.  Today I used the fun die set from Karen Burniston called Castle Pop Up along with the Tropical Scene and the Sea Animals.

The challenge is set by fellow team mate, Frances Byrne, is NO SHOES.  What is more fun that a day at the beach with NO SHOES.

Hi friends,  it's time for the Paper Pros challenge and the theme is Let's "Twist".  I used the Karen Buirniston's Twist Panel Pop Up die set.  I also used some pieces from Karen's other sets that are linked below,  just click to shop.

The fun of these cards is always on the inside so I was delighted to find a piece of paper in my stash that needed no additional embellishments. A Christmas Tree says it all.
