Love Tag

 Hello my crafty friends,

I love making cards and that is what I do most of the time but it is also nice to be able to use my dies for something else - like mixed media.  Today I have a mixed media tag to share.  I used a tag from my stash and then used a few dies from my Karen Burniston collection.

I used one of Karen's pattern plates to create the textured background.  I kept adding until I was happy with the results and then added ribbon and a Tim Holtz charm to finish it off.

This tag can easily be added to the front of a card or gift bag.

Paper Flower Friday

 Hi friends,

Today for my Paper Flower Friday I decided to reach back and find one of my favorite makes using, what else, paper flowers.  I made this canvas back in 2017 and it is still displayed in my craft room.  If you would like to see the details of how I made it you can click here.  Enjoy!

Love Is The Key

Hello friends,

I haven't done any mixed media in awhile and was really missing it.  There is nothing like getting your finger covered in paint and ink.  It's Tag Friday over at A Vintage Journey so I decided to play along with this mixed media tag in honor of my wonderful parents 75th anniversary.
