Now I have a card to share for today's hop:
For the front of this card I used the Square and Label Crosshatch along with the Happy Valentine's Day. I used foiled paper that I foiled with my Minc Machine and then cut the greeting.
I used the Snowman Twist Circle to make this new Heart Crosshatch pop up. Just because the packaging says Snowman doesn't mean "only Snowman" so let your imagination go wild. Before the white heart in the center was added, I ran it through an embossing folder, I love the added texture this gives.
The inside panel is 1" narrower than the outside so there is room for the Border Blend and some extra little hearts. The new Sending Love die set is perfect for a Valentine sentiment.
Helpful Hint: I made my foiled words into stickers by first creating the foiled paper with the Minc Machine - if you use foiled paper from your stash be sure it is no more than 65# paper - foiled cardstock will be too thick. I then ran it through my Xyron machine (or you could use double sided tape). Final step is to cut your greeting. By doing it in this order you eliminate the little adhesive webs in the openings. It's a few layers but they are thin layers and the dies cut them perfectly - I used a precision plate.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to comment for your chance to win a gift card.
