Snowflake Season

Hi my friends,

Today on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog you will find a load of inspiration for the holiday season. The entire design team has come together to share 15 new idea using the dies and stamps from the new release - all from Joset Designs.

I have made three cards using the Snowflake Die set, the Joyful Wishes Stamp set along with the new Banners. Indented & Rounded Corner Squares.  I know some people like to have their greetings on the inside of the cards so I have shown the fronts here, one with and one without the sentiment on the front.  You can pick what you like best for your cards.

I have provided some photos below showing the inlaid snowflake technique.

This photo is from a previous post where I showed how to make the snowflakes into festive decorations or ornaments for your tree. These snowflakes are so versatile and easy to use.

For your shopping convenience, Elizabeth Craft Designs products are linked below. Compensated affiliate links are used where possible with no extra cost to you. This way I can continue to share all the projects I include on my blog.  I only use and share products I love.

I have a few photos below to show you how to get the background to show through the snowflake in case you need a little refresher on inlaid technique.

I used the largest snowflake for this card but you could use any of them.  Cut your squares the size you want for layering.  In the top layer ( the blue)  center the snowflake and cut out.  Don't forget to cut a white snowflake as well.

Layer the blue panel on the gold.

Place the white snowflake in the opening and glue down.  Then add your inlaid panel to the card base.

I will sign off now with a little teaser for an upcoming post showing yet another way to use these wonderful snowflakes.  There will be a complete tutorial on how to make this ornament and more in my Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog post on September 19th.  Hope to see you there.

See you soon,
S@ndy
