Today I am excited to share some great news with you. It is the release of some great new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and all the designs come from Joest Van de Burgt with fabulous ideas for your Holiday crafting. There are some cute winter animals along with some elegant snowflakes that I will be sharing with you next week. To see all of them click here. For today I have a shadow box using the Happy Frames along with the new Village Edges. I also used one of the stamps from the new Joyful Wishes Stamp Set. Such a nice way to send warm greetings to family and friends.
After putting the Happy Frame together I simply added the Village Edges, there are two rows of cute little houses on a soft snowbank. I backed my windows with a warm yellow to give a soft glow but you can use any color you like. On the back row I added one section of double backed tape to make it stand out from the background. On the next row I added two rows, stacked up, to make it look dimensional. The shooting star, trees and the adorable little fence all come in the set. I must admit that the corners were a happy accident. I had some snowflakes already cut out and dropped one on the the corner of the frame. I liked how it looked so decided to add one to each corner.
See you soon,
S@ndy
Very cool. I love your "Happy accident". Your snowflake corners are so fun.
