Winter Magic @ A Vintage Journey

It's a new month and that means it's a new challenge at A Vintage Journey.  For December our challenge is Winter Magic, you can see what the team has made by clicking here.  For me that brings thoughts of  snow covered trees and white so that's what I have to share today.  To keep it vintage I used a canning jar filled with snow and a beautiful tree from Karen Burniston's Pop it Ups Collection, the Christmas Tree Pop Stand.  I added a few snowflakes from Karen's All Seasons Tree and the Christmas Charms set.  I finished it all off by setting the jar on some lovely large snowflakes made from the Tim Holtz Layered Snowflake die that comes with the matching embossing folder.

Stay warm and cozy this winter,

The challenge at Anything But Cute is Rustic Glam so think I will share over there as well.

  2. What a wonderful piece of home decor, Sandy . Such a clever idea . Your tree looks lovely encased in its snowflaked glass dome which you have dressed so effectively with the delicate blue ribbon .
