Hey There Cupcake

 Hello and welcome,

It's Sandy Diller back with a fun Birthday Card that has been sent to my friend for her day of celebration. I've used the Cupcake Shaker from Clear Scraps to create this happy card.

This is a 5.5" square card where I've used double sided cardstock for a festive look.

I prefer to begin by using gesso to cover all the parts of the card.  By using gesso you get a clean white base to work with.

Next I used a glossy white paint for the parts that will show when the card is completed.

After stacking two of the cupcake tops together I traced around the bottom of the cupcake to cut out a cupcake paper.  I used a crimper to make the ridges and then glued the paper to the cupcake base.  At this point a little touch up paint was required.

The stacked layer was glued to the cupcake and the shaker elements were added.

Be sure to remove the protective film from both sides of the acrylic piece and then add to top of cupcake.  Finish the cupcake by adding the remaining top piece.

A greeting was stamped on the blue panel and then added to the white one and then to the card after adding a ribbon and bow.  To finish off this card all I needed to do was glue on the cupcake.

Thanks for joining me today I hope you have enjoyed the process,

Sandy
