Supersized!

Hello friends, today I have a fun card to share with you.  I have lots of birthdays this month so decided that it would be good to supersize some stuff.  In this case it is an Alligator using the Karen Burniston Bitty Ball and the Animal Add On 4.  Here is a short video of it in action.  Enjoy!

To get the phrase, I printed it on my computer and then cut it out using the Crosshatch Labels.

As promised, here are the box measurements:  Be sure to make this portion from heavy cardstock or as I did line it with light weight chipboard.

I had a question on how to attach the tab with the alligator to the box so will try to explain.  I have provided an additional photo below.

On the inside of the box, using lite weight cardstock, not more that 65# make a tab, shown in yellow. I rolled mine a couple of times to soften the fibers, glue it to the inside of the box (just at the top) shown with the green lines.  After closing the box up on the sides, glue the pull tab with the alligator (shown in blue) to the first tab only along the edge.

See you on Monday the 17th with a great new surprise!

  3. Love it! I cant figure out how to make the slid out and stop part, and not sure I could keep it squished long enough to slide it into the box. I applaud you for coming up with this idea and being able to execute it so perfectly. Hope someone makes one for me. This is way past my skill level. Thank you for sharing. Its really fantastic.
