July Challenge - Tag Book

Hello Karen Burniston fans, today is the first Tuesday of the month so that means it is Designer Challenge Day.   Our challenge this month is Tag Book.  I made mine into a garden scene and used some great paper that I purchased recently called Cottage Garden.  I was careful to line up all the images before cutting them so they would make a continuous scene across the card.

Because this is a tag book it needs extra room in the spine on the card so I cut my cardstock the length I need and put 2 score lines to make thicker spine.  1/8 inch apart.

I needed a rectangle to frame my Welcome for the front of the card so I used 2 squares, glued them together and then cut out the center as shown below.

On the inside of this card I used 2 more squares, placed at an angle with the top one over the edge of the panel (shown with the arrow above) so I could attach a charm.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with the challenge.  Make a card and post it in  Mission Poppable.    Here is a link to the album.  We can't wait to see what everyone creates!
