This time around the challenge at Elizabeth Craft Designs is "Anything But A Card" so I naturally thought of a tag. I had so much fun making the first one that I decided to make two.
For today's challenge Elizabeth Craft Designs are giving away .... two sizes of the Clear Double Sided Adhesive which will include: a pack of the 5” x 12” sheets and a 10 mm roll of tape, in addition we will also give away a pack of the new ModaScrap 12” x 12” Viaggi Vintage Patterned Paper Pack to 3 winners.
To enter simply leave a comment on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Challenge post and tell us "Besides the classic card, what are some project ideas you like to play around with?”
We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing
The winners will be announced on Friday, June 9 on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog

Inspiration for my tags -
I have been seeing these transparent colorings on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try. I'm pretty happy with the results and will be doing more soon. I like the way the print shows through the color.
I stamped the Spring Blooms from Elizabeth Craft Designs and colored them. Next I die cut the words "Smile" and "Thanks" using some great dies from the Els van de Burgt Studio. The finishing touches were some ribbon and a little edging with Distress Inks.
I did have a couple failures when I first started but kept on until I got it. I first tried coloring with my Copics on some printed tissue and on an old book page. The print came off, smeared and discolored my pen nib, it still works fine but is now black on one side. I got the best results from stamping, with Copic friendly ink, and coloring on scrapbook paper. For the thinner papers, I backed the paper with some white cardstock.
Have a creative week, S |
Both of these tags are so stunning! I love the print behind those beautiful blooms!
