The Magic of Three

It's a new month and a new challenge at A Vintage Journey.  Our lovely hostess, Annie, has asked us to use the Magic of 3 and I took it quite literally right down to the word FLY.

I did some stash diving for this one so sorry to say that I have no extra photos to share.

I used a canvas board for the backing, added 3 smaller canvases down the center.
I'm sure you will recognize some of the fun Tim Holtz items such as the wings and the gears in the center.  I found some Springly Sprockets that were hiding in my stash and added them.
When I was finished, I added a piece of black chipboard to frame it.

Pop on over to A Vintage Journey to see the great creations from the rest of the team.

Have a great weekend,

  1. What a clever arrangement of the three panels on the canvas! I love how many times you've used three elements on this Sandy xx

  2. Sandy, you certainly have made some magic with your three mounted canvases, three Scrabble letters (for a total of 9 points--pretty good for a three letter word!) and three cogs! Well done! Hugs!

  6. This is super! Sandy. Love the idea of adding the smaller canvases down the centre of the base canvas. A great way to use all the unused elements we collect along the way. x
