Hi my friends, it's one of my favorite days of the month, it's Designer Challenge day for Elizabeth Craft Designs and this time the Die Cutting Team is challenged with "In Stitches".
For today's challenge Elizabeth Craft Designs are giving away sets of the stitched dies ( a pack of 6 separate dies that includes: Stitched Hearts, Fishtails, Squares, Rectangles, Ovals and Circles) to 3 people.
We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing

There are so many great shapes that have stitching on them and now ECD has added hearts to the collection. I decided to use four items from the new release for my project today, the Stitched Hearts, Diamond Background, Arrows & Stitched Fishtail Banners. All products I used are linked below for easy shopping.
Just a few details for you
For the background, I used the Tags & More, Lace die to cut the tag from Olive Twist Soft Finished Cardstock.
Then instead of cutting a background, I used the Diamond Background die to emboss. If you haven't tried this type of embossing it's a great way to get more uses from your dies - and who doesn't like that? Here's how you do it.
- Set machine up for embossing (same as using a folder)
- Place the die on the cutting pad face up
- Place paper on die face up
- Cover with rubber embossing pad
- Cover everything with black embossing pad, this is a hard black pad
- Run through machine
- Optional, sand lightly to reveal white core of paper
Cut out the hearts from red and white, then layer them to look like an archer's target. Attach to tag.
There are 4 arrows in the new Arrows die set from Joset Designs and I cut them all out for this tag.
Color arrows as desired, use any embellishments, the Nuvo Drops were used here. Attach to tag.
Print "You make me Quiver" on the computer and cut out using the Stitched Fishtail Banners. Attach to tag.
I hope you will stop on over for a visit today at Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog to see what everyone on the team has made.
Have a crafty week,
