As promised - I'm back today to share my second card for the October Karen Burniston Designer Challenge. Karen has asked us to use the Character Dies - in costume.
I live in the Sonoran Desert where we have some critters that may not be found where you live. One of them is the pesky Javelina. Today I have Virgil the Pig in his Javelina disguise. This idea came from my friend, Jan, who gave me permission to use it. Thanks Jan.
I'm calling this pair - Howie & Harriet.
I used the Western Edges for the mountains, the Outdoor Edges for the dead grass and the top part of the All Seasons Tree for the dried branches. The fun stamp, Cocoa Western, is a new one from Karen that will be available soon.
I have linked all of the products below
You can click here to see the great Character and Props Dies, all on sale through Friday for 20% off.
The inside of the card says what Howie is thinking.
The two stamp sets I used are Cocoa Western and Home Grown Greetings then colored with Chameleon Pens.
Stop by the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog tomorrow to see what the rest of the team has made as well as a new video from Karen. She always has a great new idea to share.
Have a creative week,
S@ndy
