The Magic of Three

It's a new month and a new challenge at A Vintage Journey.  Our lovely hostess, Annie, has asked us to use the Magic of 3 and I took it quite literally right down to the word FLY.
I did some stash diving for this one so sorry to say that I have no extra photos to share.
I used a canvas board for the backing, added 3 smaller canvases down the center.
I'm sure you will recognize some of the fun Tim Holtz items such as the wings and the gears in the center.  I found some Springly Sprockets that were hiding in my stash and added them.
When I was finished, I added a piece of black chipboard to frame it.
Pop on over to A Vintage Journey to see the great creations from the rest of the team.
Have a great weekend,

  1. What a clever arrangement of the three panels on the canvas! I love how many times you've used three elements on this Sandy xx

  2. Sandy, you certainly have made some magic with your three mounted canvases, three Scrabble letters (for a total of 9 points--pretty good for a three letter word!) and three cogs! Well done! Hugs!

  3. Love your project and interpretation of the magic of three Sandy, the mini canvases really add dimension xxx

  4. Such a fab was of using your stash item Sandy, a great creation, - love it!

  5. Love all your sets of three - especially those diamond panels forming the spine. Great splattery background too.

  6. This is super! Sandy. Love the idea of adding the smaller canvases down the centre of the base canvas. A great way to use all the unused elements we collect along the way. x

  7. Love the way you have layered your trio of canvases Sandy, a perfect example of the Magic of 3! Deb xo

  8. What a fabulous idea to "stash dive" using so many different layers of three. A wonderfully created project. Jennie x

  9. A clever idea to lay your small canvases Sandy xx great details throughout, complete with the three letters in FLY....... Apologies for being so late in visiting but I have been away from home

    Sending my best wishes
