Hi my friends and Happy New Year. I'm stopping by today to share some of the exciting new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The new designs will be released during the month of January and you are in for a treat with some fun projects shown by the new teams. ECD has two design teams, one for coloring and one for die cutting.
I'm proud to say that I am part of the Die Cutting Team for 2017 and I have my first project today - so here we go -
Valentine's Day will be here before we know it and Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing some great heart shapes to help you get your cards made in no time. For this card I've used the new Stitched Hearts which has several sizes that all work together. Also featured on this Easel Card is the Dandelion Fluff die set, Love Sentiments, Happy Flowers, Dancing Butterflies and Leafy Branch 5, all shown here in the COMING SOON section.
Here are some helpful hints that will help you make one too.
Cut 2 more hearts from the set, 2 butterflies, one Leafy Branch, 2 small and 1 large Dandelion Fluff.
Using the Love Sentiments, cut 1 Hugs. Cut one Happy Flower.
I cut everything using white Soft Finish Cardstock and then used Copic Markers to color everything.
I cut the leafy branch into smaller sections to use on the card.
Make the card base using directions for a regular easel card. The finished size of this card is
4.5" X 6".
Arrange all elements as desired and glue in place.
Hope you have enjoyed seeing my card and please join me on January 5th on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog where I will be sharing another one of my favorites from the new release.
Happy Crafting,
