Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - May

Hi my blogger friends,

Today I am a guest designer with Karen Burniston in her monthly challenge using her wonderful dies.   I have a fun little card I made using the Accordion Circle Card Die (#769) from Elizabeth Craft Designs, designed by Karen Burniston.  Karen's theme for this month is "FLY".  I first thought of birds, bees & butterflies but then decided to go with time because it also seems to "FLY".  Check out Karen's website on May 21 to see all the designs from her fabulous design team.

For this one I used some paper from, Graphic 45, Steampunk Spells.  As you know - I love steampunk so this was just perfect.  I knew I was going to use the wings from Tim Holtz (which are heavy) and this great clock face embellishment from Jolee's.  I made my base out of sturdy paper, like packaging from a paper pack ,  the die cut it just great.  I cut it out twice, once from the cardboard and once from the paper.  After assembling the card I stamped the clock face, from Close To My Heart, over the sentiment that I printed on the computer and then cut it out.  This one was fast, easy and fun.

Don't let time get away from you,
S@ndy
