Are you curious??

Hi all,

Earlier this week I got my autographed copy of Tim's book,  A Compendium of Curiosities Volume 3.  He was even kind enough to spell my name with the @ just the way I like.  I was excited to hear about Linda Ledbetter's new challenges CC3 which will be centered around the book and wanted to play along.  I really like that we will be challenged in no particular order so every two weeks we have to be on our toes and ready to create.  Just in case you want to find out what it's all about just head on over to Linda's blog here.

For the first challenge we are to use the Paint Marbling technique on page 43.  I can't share the technique with you but I can share my tag and some photos along the way so here we go-

I started out with the paint marbling using Mustard Seed, Wild Honey and a touch of Broken China Distress Paints.

I used some of Tim's Layering Stencils, Stars with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, Stripes with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and finally the Clock using Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and then edged it all with Brushed Corduroy. After Stamping using a stamp from Way With Words Stamp Set I embossed the stamped words with clear embossing powder. I colored some Industrious Stickers with alcohol ink & then I added a Pointy Finger Remnant Rub, a couple flowers, some leaves cut with the Spring Greenery Die. Then came some Crinkle Ribbon died with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink and finished off with a Philosophy Tag.

Got to run, off to see what the Curiosity Crew has to show me and to leave some comments.  Hope you will do the same.

Always be Curious,
